I tried several broom handles and handle extensions they don t thread in ore than one turn.

But it is not the right pitch for standard broom handles.
American broom and brush manufacturers make acme threaded handles and brushes.
In the united states most threaded handles for brooms paint rollers extension poles for window washing brushes and squeegees and so forth have threads inch in diameter 5 threads per inch acme form.
However that doesn t seem to be the case.
Every paint and broom stick i own will not work with the acme thread type i ve tried 2 3 and 4g but no luck.
Does anyone out there have specs for threads on standard broom handles.
